Aroma is lots of hops, but you can tell there is some malts waiting as well. Very well balanced taste with a subdued burst of hops and very nice sweet malts. If you are into IPAs that do not necessarily punch you in the crotch, this is perfect. Great summer drinking ale. poolboy (66), Lafayette, Indiana, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 2, 2008 12 oz. 2007 bottle. Amber in color. Nose is a bit weak, so much so that the alcohol almost seems to dominate. Head was minimal and didn’t last. A fairly mild IPA, hop wise, with most of the bitterness up front, but quite drinkable. ewestern (198), Ohio, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Little aroma was present. Light amber color with a decent white head. the head dissipated put left a small thin layer - bonus points from that. Sweet citrus start with a nice bitter finish that ends almost as soon as it finishes. Made me think of a watered down IPA.
