Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

On tap at the White Horse, Parsons Green, 4th July 2008. Rich amber with hops, malt and honey on the nose. Good hoppy flavour and nicely full bodied, if somewhat flat.

POured an amber color with off white head. Aroma was a bit strange with some hops, cant put my finger on the strange aroma. Flavor is a harsh weird medicinal bitterness. Not quite sure why this is so bad while there other hopped up selections are very good.

Another gracious bottle from what I thought was my best friend’s fridge.
Glad I could be taking one for the team and alleviating his fridge of this goodliness.
Pours amber in color with a nice half inch head. Smell is some grassy, piney hops. Subdued hops, but they are there. Taste is pretty non-obtrusive IPA. Nothing to get excited about, and not enough hops to make it memorable. Easy drinking, slightly bittering. Decent beer, but will not drink again. Now where’s my Two Hearted!

Citrus, grapefruit, and bready aroma. Light golden, clear, with frothy white head. Grapefruit, alcohol, and straw-bread malts. Dry, bitter finish.

A ruby ale with a offwhite head. Aroma is quite malty with some neat hop notes. Flavour is rather full with fat malt and some hops. Quite bitter. And IPA with a quite a focus on the malt and the bitterness. Actually quite refreshing having an IPA with a very moderate hop aroma and flavour!

Pours a dark, caramel colour with a full white head. Not overly hoppy, in fact mild for its style. Aroma is semi sweet with hints of pine and biscuits. Taste is astringent, with caramel, hops and grapefruit.

A gusher. Pours with a hazy amber body with and off-white, fizzy head. Aroma of floral hops and caramel. Taste is sweet then bitter. Mouthfeel is fizzy and watery.
