Taste of spicy hops and malt with a horrible bitterness. This really doesnt taste like an IPA. The pale ale tastes better. unclemattie (2432), Georgia, USA

amber color, slightly tan head. Awesome lacing. did not get a strong aroma. It does show a little malt sweetnes although the bitter finish is a great one. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

You are immediately hit with a hoppy and citrusy aroma. Flavor is nice. Has a nice hoppiness to it that lingers. Nice brew. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2006 Poured light amber yellow, with a llittle white head. Aroma was citrusy. Flavor was grapefruity all the way from first sip to last. I was surprised that this went smoothly down for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to drink this again. elektrogeist (158), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 16, 2006 Not one of my favorite beers from Sierra Nevada. I was expecting a little more bitter finish and it was sweeter and malteir than their Pale Ale. It was a great find here in TN but may not buy much more. roder60 (1030), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2006 Pours a nice medium orange color with a thin amount of foamy white head. Nice hoppy citric, yet not overpowering aroma. Flavor is not what I expected. Hoppy, yet not overly bitter hops, instead more floral, and a much sweeter more carmely taste. Overall, yummy.
