mmhnto (29), Lisle, Illinois, USA Apr 25, 2007 Aroma lacking of hops or malt. Very bitter aftertaste. Ok, but don’t think I’ll have another one soon.
Bov (4604), Bienne, Switzerland Aug 14, 2008 courtesy of Tony Flükiger; 2007 vintage - hazy red-orange colour with a poor foam left; oily hoppy nose showing notes of peach and melon; medium-bodied and with a moderate carbonation; slightly oily palate but finishes very dry and very bitter; long fruity and flowery hoppy finish Snojerk321 (943), San Diego, California, USA Aug 2, 2008 12 oz. 2007 bottle. Amber in color. Nose is a bit weak, so much so that the alcohol almost seems to dominate. Head was minimal and didn’t last. A fairly mild IPA, hop wise, with most of the bitterness up front, but quite drinkable. ewestern (62), Ohio, USA Jul 30, 2008 Little aroma was present. Light amber color with a decent white head. the head dissipated put left a small thin layer - bonus points from that. Sweet citrus start with a nice bitter finish that ends almost as soon as it finishes. Made me think of a watered down IPA. Russo (476), Campinas, Brazil Jul 18, 2008 On Tap at Old Chicago, Omaha, NE. Nice dark brown color, thin white head. Aroma is hopy like his flavor, mouthfeel is a good bitter . Ethereal (869), London, Greater London, England Jul 9, 2008 On tap at the White Horse, Parsons Green, 4th July 2008. Rich amber with hops, malt and honey on the nose. Good hoppy flavour and nicely full bodied, if somewhat flat.
