The nose is grainy pale malt, hopcitrus, spice. Tastes crisp, pale malty, hoppy, citric, and spicy, with some clovey and banana, and a very well balanced mouthfeel. I bought only one of these, and I wish I’d bought a whole sixer. Very solid. WVHouseofBeer (387), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA

Aroma is sweet banana and a mild clove hint. Flavor begins with a grainy and mildly sour wheat flavor that gives way to a surprisingly citrusy and tart middle with a very mild spice and a smooth, dry wheat finish. Nice and refreshing. snuffla (98), Chch, New Zealand

Aroma very bready, straight yeasty, along with clove, banana, bubblegum, tangy orange and lemon notes, all in all rather complex and interesting albeit traditional. Flavor quite yeasty, doughy, with light bubblegum and banana remaining. Nice level of creaminess but also a bit high on the carbonation. Pretty nice, certainly refreshing. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2009 Spent most of this weekend drinking a 12 pack of this beer, watching college and NFL football and I gotta say it’s a damn fine beer. Either in the bottle or in my glass, it’s just sooo easy to drink. And for $7.00 a sixer, the price is right too.
The beer pours out a medium hazy golden yellow body with a creamy 1" thick head. Aromas are really traditional for the style...lots of banana, cloves, bubblegum with a smidge of yeast. Flavor is light wheat, banana, yeast and bubblegum. Slightly prickly on the toungue, medium bodied...creamy. Very, very nice.
