bottle 12oz. - Poured piss yellow with thin white head.
Aroma - some skunk and wheat, hope it tastes better!!
Flavor - Sour lemony and wheat taste. Better than last Hefe I had but thats not saying much. Also tasted some mild banana flavor...pretty good!
Palate - thin mouthfeel and has good carbonation. Finish is dry with alot of spice in aftertaste.
Overall - 2nd Hefe in a row and this is far better than first, still not my favorite style but drinkable.

Hazy orange color, decent creamy white head. Strong bubblegum and banana aroma. Wheaty, bubblegummy flavor. Smooth palate. Sweetish hefeweizen. Quite German, not much "American".

Dec 3, 2009 It poured a hazy golden liquid with a small white foam. Smell and taste of foam banana. Sweet and medium smooth.

Dec 2, 2009 12oz. Aroma is full of wheat (both malted and unmalted) and a little banana. When drunk there’s a slight acid sourness and just noticable hop bite to balance the round wheat/grain/earth flavor. Less bubbly then I was expecting but delicious. Yay beer!

Nov 29, 2009 A very good Hefe. Pours a cloudy golden color and the aroma is classic German wheat: clove and yeast. The flavor is very tasty, banana, clove and yeast. Surprisingly, this is a great wheat even comparable to the German Hefe’s. A surprise from a mediocre brewery.

Nov 28, 2009 Overall good hefeweizen. Very drinkable with a slightly pungent mouth feel. Could detect hints of banana, cereal, nuts, and resin.

Nov 27, 2009 Bottle. Hazy yellow with a big frothy white head. Aroma of banana, flowers, citrus and clove. The flavour is banana, sweet malt and clove. Didnt bring much to this style but a fair brew.

Nov 24, 2009 Bottle ( 12oz ). Slightly hazy yellow-gold with a fairly large fluffy white lasting head. Nice light balanced aroma - grassy and fruity. The taste follows, ever so slightly tart; a hint of earthiness to the floral/grassy bitterness, fruit sweetness is peach, pear and very light banana. Light and soft body, decently carbonated, quick finishing and just a bit of sweet fruity linger. I liked it.

Nov 22, 2009 Have had trouble finding this beer, but I am now very pleased I did.
Bottle pour is cloudy yellow, with a foamy head that stayed thru most of the consumption. Mild carbonation is very well set for a brew such as this one. Aromas of lemon, citrus, slight sweet clove. Taste was very impressive, smooth, a little heavy in feel, notes of not-quite-ripe bananna, lemon, mild hops, and very good malts. I don’t know if I would call the flavors complex, but they all compliment each other very nicely. I do believe the open fermentation process attributes are noticeable in this brew. A very impressive, well balanced hefeweizen from a reliable brewery.
