Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear nut brown. Sweet and caramelly. Blown up cookie malt form a midsized body with clean edges. Toffee is more or less the one flavour. Finishes with fairly low bitterness. A beer with a pleasant surface, but no depth and no resemblance to the style it’s marketed as.

Draught at Bishop Arms. Järntorget, Gothenburg. Deep copper with a medium, beige head. Sweet aroma; dark sugar. Slightly vinous flavour with some licorice and chocolate. Dry and medium bitterness.

(Draught) Pours dark mahogany brown with a creamy, pale nougat colored head. The aroma is light roasted, light floral and light spicy with undertones of caramel, nuts and cookies. The flavour is medium malty and light to medium hoppy. Grass and bread is also present. The mouthfeel is soft, quite round and a bit dry. Light sweet and light to medium bitter. Medium bodied.

Draught at Bishops Arms, Järntorget, Göteborg, Sweden. Dark copper with medium off-white head. Dark fruits dominate the aroma, with some caramell and nuts, and mild spicy hops. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Well balanced with a dry finish and moderate bitterness. Quite unusual Oktobertestbier, but very nice.

Draught at Bishops Arms Järntorget Göteborg: Clear coppery/red colour, with a nice head. Aroma of citric, caramelly, malts, grassy. Flavor is smouth,malty/caramelly mouth feeling.Thin body, and a short malty fnish,

Draught @ Bishops Arms, Malmö. Pours a clear dark amber color with longlasting off-white head. Malty bready and slightly fruity aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweet malty hoppy flavor with some caramel hints. Sweetish malty hoppy finish.

very dark brown, fine tan head leaving a trail of thick lace in its wake, light sweet malt aroma with just a hint of hops, dry malt flavor with a touch of bittering hops coming out at the end, a hint of an ester in the finish, a little off style wise, but tasty

Sampled on 10/11/06: Pours a clear copper mahogany with a nicely-lacing off-white head. Rich, authentic Munich malty aroma has good grainy character and a touch of noble hops. Body starts fairly full and malty drying some toward a more bitter toasty finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable.
