Pours a coppery color with small head. Didn’t notice much of an odor. Thin in body and in taste. I like this company but they don’t make a real good Octoberfest. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 15, 2006 On tap at The Knickerbocker. Aroma of dusty roasted malt, dry caramel syrup, and sour mash. A bit floral, but weak. Dark rootbeer brown, clear, with thin off-white head. A little lacing is present. Medium to light watery body with medium carbonation. Starts pretty dry. There is just a bit of sweetness, grain, pekoe tea, and some biscuit. Medium hoppy, not much for aroma or taste, but good on the bittering. Finish is bitter but not hoppy and leaves a tannic dryness on the palate. Bitter chalky after. Odeed (1680), Bakersfield, California, USA
