Sampled with Stegosaurus and Beerded_one at Newtown Brewfest. Pours a coppery color with small head. Didn’t notice much of an odor. Thin in body and in taste. I like this company but they don’t make a real good Octoberfest.

Draught @ BJ’s Mesa, Az. Location.
A deep amber body with off white head. Aroma and flavors were both a medium malt, sweet, little spicey. Medium bodied octoberfest brew that went well with the pizza we had for dinner.

Draft at SN Taproom. Caramel, Coca-Cola colored beer with an ivory head. Toasty malt flavor with a rather astringent, doughy flavor. Very thin mouth feel and a dry finish.

On tap at The Knickerbocker. Aroma of dusty roasted malt, dry caramel syrup, and sour mash. A bit floral, but weak. Dark rootbeer brown, clear, with thin off-white head. A little lacing is present. Medium to light watery body with medium carbonation. Starts pretty dry. There is just a bit of sweetness, grain, pekoe tea, and some biscuit. Medium hoppy, not much for aroma or taste, but good on the bittering. Finish is bitter but not hoppy and leaves a tannic dryness on the palate. Bitter chalky after.
