Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Clear gold in color... Flavor is like the ipa, but milder, more watered down... Very drinkable, hint of hops on the palate... I can see why this is their best known beer, very nice....

Big sweet aroma, fruity and malty. Pours pretty enough, a pleasant gold with a big foamy head. Flavor was a big sweet malty flavor followed by generous hops and a fruity aftertaste. Especially refreshing on a 100 degree day like today. Overall, very recommendable.

One of my first introductions to craft beer and pale ales. I still remember going from Miller Lite to Sierra Nevada. I’m glad someone had enough sympathy to show me the way haha. I always keep some in the fridge and especially love to offer it to those who have not yet experienced craft beer. I think it’s a great start. Has a great amount of flavor compared to light lagers but isn’t at all overpowering. Always refreshing, always satisfying. Bring golden amber color with a white head. Noticable aroma of hops and nice fruity, malty, hoppy flavor. Well balanced for sure. A staple pale ale.

Was looking forward to this beer as it has such a good reputation as being a ’benchmark’ APA. I was not dissapointed! Light copper with white head. Slight aromas of baked apple but not very strong. Flavour is where it counts, sweet malt, yummy cascade hop profile, crisp, spicey and yeasty esters, all comes together to deliver a satisfying experience and making me anxious for that next sip. Lingering bitterness to round it out, the flavours just hang on and on as the glass is down on the bench after swigging. Perfectly balanced. Thoroughly enjoyed this beer! Very crisp!

Bottle. Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy with piney and fruity notes. The flavour is bitter hops, some sweet malt with citric and floral notes. Bitter finish, medium-bodied. Very good, balanced brew.

Nasty, fishy, dishwatery. This tasted great before I knew beer, now it’s just hard to stomach. Sorry SN.

Well balanced brew. Yeasty nose, with a good kick of hops. It’s drinkable, enjoyable pale yet flavorful.

This is definitely one of my favorite beers. It’s widely available, which is great. And it’s all around a great pale ale. It has just the right amount of hops, which isn’t too overwhelming. Too many pale ale’s these days have you wondering if it’s actually an IPA. But this is a true pale ale and I’ll never stop buying it, this is a great buy!
