It had been a while since I had this beer originally. I had it before I liked real beer. I must say my tastes have definately change and I think SNPA ranks right up there as one of my favorite Pale Ales. Great flavor, aroma and apperance. Real smooth with just the right amount of hoppyness and maltiness. A well balanced flavor.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a very tall off white head. Fruity malty aroma, I like where this is going. Flavor is fairly hoppy with some light fruity and malty notes, bitter in the finish. Mouthfeel isn’t heavy but it’s certainly not light, good body but not overly filling. Nice balance in this beer except that the finish is a bit on the bitter side for me, but some people like that. Overall, not a bad beer. Certainly beat my expectations as I have been putting off buying this one for some time.

Pale amber and clear. Medium sized and long lasting white head. Hops aroma with piny and grassy aroma. Medium bodied and dry palate with medium carbonation. Malts, bread, bitterness, fruitiness, lightly pine and grass in taste. Bitter and fruity aftertaste.

Pours a light orange color with a little head and nice lacing. To the nose it smells of juniper and pine and when it first hits the tongue it tastes the same. The hops are very evident and with its floral notes it finishes very crisp and clean. This is one of my old stand-bys. It never gets old and is really enjoyable.

Very drinkable and enjoyable - flavors of bread, yeast, cereal malt, citrus hops. Smooth mouthfeel.

Definately a nice surprise, I had a feeling this ale would be good but not this good! Pours a nice copper color with decent creamy head and an abundance of lacing. The aroma is highly hopped with a nice maltiness. Mouthfeel is thick and filling with an unbelievably smooth crisp finish. The flavor is the perfect balance of bittering hops and malts for a pale ale. This is a great standard for the pale ale style and an exceptional example.

This is my "go-to" beer at the local grocery store. If I am looking to pick up a 12 pack, it’s this beer right here. It’s an outstanding beer that does not get enough credit in my opinion. A nice delicious hoppy pale ale. Cheers!
