Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

2/7/09 from the bottle. Aroma is citrus grapefruit with a sweet malt blend. Appearance is hazy gold with a very well maintained white head. Flavor is a very smooth blend of citrus, sweet malt and caramel with low bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a medium carb texture. Overall, simple and easy drinking.

From a 12oz bottle this pale ale pours an amber color with a decent white head. Aroma of pine hops, citrus and some floral notes. Nice smooth taste with a slight hoppy and citrusy flavor. Very easy drinking. This is a great beer to always have on hand that everyone enjoys.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow, nice off-white head. Aroma is hops and a touch of caramel. Flavor is more of the same. Solid pale ale.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a one finger white head that leaves very spotty lacing. The nose is malt and light citrus. The taste is light caramel and some decent citrus hop bite for a pale. Medium bodied. This is one of my first pseudo craft brews I ever sampled (along with Anchor Steam) and always a go to beer when the other choices suck. Classic American Pale.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden with a spotty off-white head. Aroma is some light maltiness and citrus, really not much there at all. Flavor is grainy and bready with a light citrus hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with sharp carbonation.

A real honest beer you can enjoy several of in any season. Sierra Nevada has a nice smell of Northwestern hops and beautify cooper appearance that invites you to start drinking. The body is medium to light, caramel sweet and hopped just right, kind of like an English pale ale, more floral and grapefruit than bitter.

From bottle to tulip. First taste of a legendary micro brew. Pours a slightly hazy orang/golden color. Moderate off-white head with decent lacing through finish. Aroma of cascade hops, citrus, and malts. Well-balanced beer with a good dry finish. Good representation of an APA. I kind of like a beer closer to home a bit better - Schlafly’s APA. To me either one is good for a six-pack session with friends. Cheers!

Bottle. Tasted at Ulkløbben. Smells like pale ale:) Light in colour with a little white head. Slightly bitter, but not much for a pale ale. Actually it is very balanced. The sweetness is there as well. This is a really nice session beer, and I have always liked it. BUT is Ølfabrikken pale ale at a fraction of the price notjust as good or even better? Well that does not change my opinion that this is a nice fresh little beer.
