Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Bottle at the Rake, 7th March 2009. Golden amber. Quite hoppy nose, balanced flavour in the mouth. Expected APA flavours, decent weight. A good staple, found widely.

Hoppy and strident. I’m beginning to believe that I do not care much for pale ales...

[Look]: Amber golden color with a nice off-white head. [Smell]: Citrus and piney nose. [Taste]: Citrus, piney and floral from the hop with nice biscuit malt. Nice dry fruity finish. [Overall]: Awesome American Pale Ale!!

This is my "go-to-always-on-hand" beer. The aroma is above average but the flavor and palate are great. A great flowery, hoppy taste immediately. A nice sharp finish.

Bottle. Poured a frothy-rocky, off-white head with nice lacing. Clear body with some very light, dancing yeast clouds from the bottle conditioning. A very nice floral and citrus hop aroma. The first swig yields a touch of caramel malt, which is quickly washed away by grapefruit and a bit of woody-spiciness from the hops. Nice clean, finish, with just a touch of lingering grapefruit and malt. The body is medium-light with average, pleasant carbonation. All around a great APA. I wish more would strive for this balance.

Pretty nice beer with an attractive dark amber color and thin white head. Is nicely bitter and thirst quenchingly hoppy. Real nice hops in the nose comprising of citrus and pine. There is citrus, earth, and pine very noticeable in the flavor. Malts and fresh bread give a nice background to this beer.
