Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

To me, this is the perfect pale ale. A strong cascade hop aroma that smells piney. A nice amount of bitterness at the back of the tongue (maybe a hair too much), and well rounded malt profile to balance it out. Definitely a "chewier" type of pale ale, but definitely my go-to pale ale. Maybe without the nostalgia, I would have rated it a little lower (3.8-3.9?), but who knows. Seems right.

Bottle from Waitrose. Amber blonde with a lacey white. Fruity malt with bags of floral citric hops. An excellent APA.

Pours amber with a thin white foam. Aromas of citrus and pine, flavor of caramel, followed by more citrus and a wonderful bitter hop finish. This is my favorite go to beer.

grainy wheat-ish aroma with a nice light amber color. Not as hoppy as most pale ales, which gives this a high score on all day drinkability. Fisishes fairly cleanly. Hoenstly, this is better than I remember.

(bottle) Pours amber with a small dense head. Nice hoppy aroma and a clean malt flavour with a nice lingering hop finish.

Bottle. Aroma of hops and spices and some citrus. Smooth with little bitterness. Not quite a session pale ale for me.

Fairly light on the palate, finishes with a bit of bitterness, but not too much.
