Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Well, this is one of my absolute favors. I just like the dry and bitter after taste.

Yellowy brown with a woody hop nose. flavour is crisp lemons with sherbert and hops surprisingly lacking in bitterness. A very refreshing session drink and would be great for summer.

Bottle: Can’t believe it took me this long to rate this stuff. Pours an orange color with good clarity and a dense lacing head. Some mild crystal malt sweetness and a touch of orangey cascade come through in the aroma. Has a decent feel- the carbonation could be milder. The flavor has a soflt sweet crystal character, touch of toasted caramel, and a mild cascade citrus presence. A solid APA, considering it’s production size and accessibility. A great go-to-beer.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a nice white head. It had a very flowery aroma with a hint of citrus. The beer had a light body, thin texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty decent pale ale.

Bottle. pours coppery amber with small off white head. Smells prominantly like cascade hops. Hints of malts. Tastes piney, citric, sweet, dry bitter. Some malt flavor. Very drinkable. Love it.

Pours a nice amber color with about two fingers worth of white head. Aromas of citrus and pine hops are prevalent. A nice citrus flavor hits at first immediately blending with the pine hops. Bitterness is stronger than I expected, which is definitely a good thing. I tasted a slight malt presence in the finish which rounded out the brew nicely. This is an extremely drinkable brew. I could easily have a few of these with no problem. A great go to beer that can be found anywhere. Soon a be a regular for me I’m sure. Reviewed on: 09-18-2007
