Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

In the past this beer has been one of my favorites. Very good looking beer. Great for the summer although a little strong for any kind of session beer. Orange rind comes to mind in the aroma and taste as well. But floral and earthy scents are predominate. Bitter in the finish but not overpowering. Bready, buiscuty malts show up first on the palate then the hop flavor and bitterness later. Great drinking beer anytime of the year. Mild enough but too many will knock you on your ass, so be careful. Just a great beer.

24 oz bottle. Pours an orangish color with a good sized white head. Delicious beer, hoppy and slightly grassy tasting, but in a good way. Medium bodied, crisp, and refreshing.

Pours a slightly orange color with a white head. Has a nice aroma of hops. Taste is a fine balance between the sweet hops, malts, and a tiny amount of caramel. Drinkability factor is very high.

Bottle, few months past bbe. Light amber, quite thick off-white head. Grapefuity hopped aroma, bready malts. Simple, but nice. Little yeasty, herbal hoppy flavor, toasty malts. Grapefruit seedy bitterness in the finish. Almost medium bodied, strongly carbonated smooth palate. Sadly I couldn’t find a fresher bottle..

Bottle from State Liquor Store, Ogden, UT. Absolutely the best I have had this beer - very fresh. Clear, clean hops like a Colorado beer: not bitter, not too sweet, not at all citric. Like cucumber and grass. Delish.

My favourite style of beer (copied I understand by many Oz craft brewers). Dark yellow hue and low carbonation. Citrus and alot of pils type saltiness at the back. Maybe a little watery. Good beer.
