Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Great refreshing beer after a hot summer day. Nice amber color, wonderful taste and a very smooth finish. Nice pick for a six pack and a ball game.

The old stand by. Look up the definition of an American pale, it basically describes this beer. Some worse, many better, but good in a pinch. The best thing available at many a macro-bar.

Pours a clear golden amber with a small white fluffy head that dissipates quickly to a ring leaving only a little lacing. The aroma is big on citrus hops with grapefruit up front and a hint of pine in the background. The taste starts with a big citrus hop bite up front before giving way to the malt backbone. There is a little pine bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is fresh and clean with good carbonation but a tad light for my liking. This is certainly one of the best mainstream beers out there and one that I order frequently when there’s not a lot else available. Good stuff.

Bottled. Pours a pale amber color with a white head. Aroma of hops and maybe grass. Flavor was pretty typical of a pale ale. Too dry for my taste.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden copper with a med sized almost white head that left little lacing. Light aroma mainly of citusy hops and a little caramel malt in the background. Well balanced in flavor with a little sweetness in the begining and a nice long mild hop finish. Med body, lively carb, light syrupy texture, and dry feel. A clean crisp beer.

12 oz bottle from premier gourmet. pours copper with a tiny white head. super clear and kinda watery looking. aromas: tiny hop and tiny malts, improves as it warms. flavours are similar. not bad in anyway just nothing that stands out. not something id purchase often if availible locally.

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice pale orange/golden color with a nice white had that is a tad lacking in retention but produces some nice lacing. Very nice pine and citrus hop aroma in the nose. Always a nice welcome before you dive in. Flavor is nice and easy on the citrus and has a sufficient malt backbone the balance the whole thing out perfectly. I have always loved this beer and it should be the example for other brewers to strive for.
