Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Starts with a hoppy aroma, with a light mouth. Can be somewhat bitter depending on pairing. Great for relaxing and drinking a clean beer.

Very nice, flavorful. Nice hoppy aroma. I like this one by itself, or mixed half-and-half with apple cider to make a snakebite.

(Bottle). Hoppy fragrance. Color is medium amber with a decent head. Wonderfully well balanced flavor -- hops, grapefruit, pineapple, just the right amount of bitterness. Smooth finish. Enjoyable and refreshing.

Bottle shared with Jackie at Beer Bistro. It’s everything our local Tankhouse should be. Slightly more aggressive and spicy. Looks great, smells great, and tastes like a slap in the tankhouse

Bottle - pale gold and simmering white head. Great hops aroma with a down to earth feel. The Pale body and hop dryness just a little much for me though well crafted. Good hop malt balance and a refreshing grab.

Seriously there is just something about this beer that does it for me. It’s very well balanced and tne malt and the hops have endless aromas and flavors. It will hold it’s own against any other beer you drink. Try it after drinking a belgian and the malt holds up as well as the noticable layers of hops. Drink it with IPA’s and the sweetnes and and depth of the malt comes through. It has a melony kind of thing going on that I have yet to really find in another beer. I believe it comes from the hops but they have it so well balanced it’s not in your face like some of the other pale ales from the NW. I’t s my go to!!!

This beer hits the spot no matter the time of year. It is hoppy but not too hoppy for a pale ale and is also not watered down. Sierra nevada makes good beers.
