Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

Bottle (350ml). Poured golden orange (clear amber?) with a large, rocky, off-white head which was mostly lasting. A superb pine/fruity hop aroma with loads of grapefruits, nectarines, pineapple and passionfruit with biscuity toffee malts backing it all up. Flavor was extremely well balanced with a moderate, resiny hop bitterness, strong notes of grapefruit citrus, stone fruits, passionfruit, some mild notes of marmalade, toffee malts and piney/resin notes in the finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry/piney mouthfeel and a great finish. Very sessionable APA (even though most are).

A lovely Pale Ale very similar to the old UK style that we don’t seem to produce nowadays. Beautiful dark gold/amber colour with white head. Pleasant fizzy citrus aroma. Intense hoppy bitterness counterbalances a decent malt body. Lingering bitterness in the finish with an almost burnt malt quality. Complements a wide range of foodstuffs - one of the few that goes well with Indian foods. Superb.

This Aple Ale poured a golden orange colour with a nice big, foamy, bright white head. To the nose there is scents of yeast, cream and hopps. The first sip was very smooth with flavours of hopps and cinnamon??? Finish was slightly bitter with a lingering flavour of cinnamon. Hopps lingered on in the palate.

Overall a good pale ale. Very hoppy aroma, taste and palate. Not overly expensive as some other microbrew pale ales, and if you don’t like too much bitterness this may be fore you.

The classic! Pours a nice light clear amber color. Creamy off white head, enough active carbonation that it sticks around for a while. Aromas of citrus fruit, some faint spicy and floral notes. Superbly balanced flavors start with light, crisp bitterness and lemon citrus notes, some light peppery notes, and an constant smooth sweet caramel malt. Even and full on the palate. Outstanding american pale ale.

12 oz bottle. Poured a light amber color with foamy head and some lacing that stuck around throughout. Citrus hop flavor with a somewhat malty finish. One of my favorites!

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, golden/amber with a nice foamy head. Aroma characterized by oak and hops. Flavor is hoppy with a bit of citrus and smooth malts on the back to balance. Medium bodied with a fair amount of carbonation. The taste of hops lingers afterwards. Exceptional drinkability since this beer can be found in virtually any bar.
