Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

First of all-I am not a big fan of the pale ales. However this is a pretty good one. It has a nice orange hue coloring to it, aroma is a bit overwhelming for my taste, pretty nice head. Pretty bitter on the palate. Not too bad although I would find something else to sip on.

Description otiose. For years - in this country - this was the mythical non-crap American beer. It must have caused quite a stir. It has not entirely been overtaken by events - it’s notably balanced and non-shouty.

Attractive bronze, some sediment, white head. Hoppy/citrus aroma. Taste is piney hops and caramelly malt. Hops dominate but the sweet malt strikes a good balance. As can be expected from a west coast pale ale... piney and citrus hoppy notes are on the forefront. The style isn’t tops on my list, but one of the best pale ales I’ve had.

Great beer that is readily available. Nice crisp hoppy pale that has some citrus flavors along with some pine and grass. Fresh earthy profile!

Picked up this American classic from Tesco... Amber color with decent, slightly sticky head and lively carbonation. Citrus hop aroma balanced by biscuity malt. The taste leads with hop bitterness balanced well by a malt backbone following through with an almost sweet hop character. An excellent brew.

Pours a clear copper with sparse carb. Little and quickly diminishing head. Faint pine and citrus aroma. Crisp with light hopback bone. I guess a balanced beer, although low gravity.

This has probably become my go to beer for any regular drinking. At the same price of many of the more expensive imports such as stella it really is a steal. The hops in this beer provide a fantastic flavor. It really has that perfect intensity which makes it drinkable (I find i can’t drink 6 or 7 imperial stouts in one sitting like you could this, and i do love an imperial).

A rather enjoyable pale ale, SNPA is hoppy, bright, and crisp. Flavors are pretty standard for a pale ale, and any fans of PAs should definitely give this a try.
