Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.<P> Bottle Conditioned.

This is pretty much as good as it gets for American pale ales. You won’t find a better beer cheaper, I don’t think, either. Nice and citrus-hoppy, very drinkable. Like many people, Sierra Nevada was one of the first craft beers I had, and it still never disappoints me. It’s great, and it can go toe-to-toe with most more expensive beers of this style.

Pours an amber orange color with a thick white/tan head. Aroma of floral hops. Flavor is of piney hops, citrus, with a mild maltiness. Lively carbonation and a nice mouth feel.

Light amber with no head, strong fruit and hop aroma, lots of taste hoppy, fruity (grapefruit?) and dry, not bad.

Bottled. Orange. Thick light tan head that thins quickly but remains. Alcoholic smell along with aromatic notes of grassy/earthy along with sweeter light fruity hop notes. Dry the whole way through with lasting bitter finish. Sweet tastes seem dulled by bitterness.

Rich amber color; Medium body; Aroma of hops, citrus & spice; Flavor primarily of pine hops and citrus, some malt, & caramel as well; The bitterness on this one lingers for a while; A great American macro brew.

This is an excellent session beer...nothing more. I quaffed a Great Lakes Christmas Ale prior to imbibing the Sierra Nevada-no comparison; although the SN is rated higher! Unbelievable.

Great Cascade aromatics. Wonderful aroma. Mild maltiness in balance with bittering hops. To my tastes - great session beer. Citrus character dominates.
