Nice beer, bitter taste with a really smooth aftertaste. Really not that much difference with the bottled version. BMan1113VR (2914), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2008 On tap. Pours with a large, creamy, off-white head covering a clear orangee body. Strong lacing you expect from a tap fresh beer. Aroma of light grapefruit hops. Taste is light citrus with maltey wheatiness and a light spicey hoppiness. Good fall back. 502Flavors (622), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 29, 2008 Draft at a local dive bar. It was basically the same as the bottled version - same great, almost spicy, floral hop aroma and flavor with just a hint of pale malt presence in the back - but much fresher. I have had bad (or just not so good) bottles of SN pale ale, but never a bad draft. Good stuff, great safety. I always seems to forget how good it really is though.
