(draft at Sherlock’s Bay Area, Houston, TX): Pours a reddish, golden body. Whitish head, good lacing but not very lasting, and small. Hoppy malty aromaj some gaapefruit. Somewhat bitter on the front, malty on the aftertaste. Not very nutty Flattish. Okay, not as tasty or hoppy as the bottle.

One of my favorite pale ales. Sierra Nevada needs to keep up the great work.

Off taps Capital Ale House. Slight pale malt aroma with floral grassy american hops. Clear golden amber with small fine white head. Grassy floral hops with tea like overtones over moderate malt sweetness. Medium body with dry finish.

I find the draft version to be better tasting then out of the bottle. The hops and malt both seem more pronounced in the draft version.

Tasted somewhere along my trip through the States.
Nice beer, bitter taste with a really smooth aftertaste. Really not that much difference with the bottled version.

On tap. Pours with a large, creamy, off-white head covering a clear orangee body. Strong lacing you expect from a tap fresh beer. Aroma of light grapefruit hops. Taste is light citrus with maltey wheatiness and a light spicey hoppiness. Good fall back.

Draft at a local dive bar. It was basically the same as the bottled version - same great, almost spicy, floral hop aroma and flavor with just a hint of pale malt presence in the back - but much fresher. I have had bad (or just not so good) bottles of SN pale ale, but never a bad draft. Good stuff, great safety. I always seems to forget how good it really is though.

Pours a nice amber colorw ith a big off white head. Aroma is of citrus and pine hops. Flavor is much the same, but very well balanced by the malt, this one is a bit maltier than the bottle.
