Lovely hops, tobacco and caramel with some slight brown sugar. Straight forward but very drinkable. Pleasant bitter/sweet moment in the finish. Not bad machfive55 (231), Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Poured a nice amber with a little head and a good carbonation. Purchased on draught at the ballpark. A good all around IPA, but nothing really stands out about this beer for me. There is some nice hop aroma, a good hop flavor and bitterness, but nothing is over the top about this beer. It’s a nice beer and my dad also enjoyed it, but just nothing crazy here as far as IPA’s go, this is pretty much a standard. wrbriggs (5), Shelburne, Vermont, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Medium-amber color, some Cascade hop flavor, malty finish. Less bitter and less hop aroma than SNPA in a bottle, with a maltier flavor. Seems to have less carbonation than the bottled version as well, which makes it go down a bit more smoothly. gotohelunc (473), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 30, 2008 Draft at Joey’s in Seattle. Pine hops nose on a copper, clear beer with a good sized white head. Well balanced Cascade hop flavor, smoother than the bottle version but not as complex. A solid option whenever there’s nothing more interesting on tap. Never disappoints. wilkie (1191), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 25, 2008 Draught at Sadlacks in Raleigh, NC. Pours amber, almost brown, with a medium white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy, with caramel, floral citrus, some pine. Flavor is similar, very tasty, hoppy aftertaste, more malty than the bottle. ekstedt (2425), Göteborg, Sweden

Veru much the same as the bootles version, perhaps even a bit fresher hop aroma, and a bit softer mouthfeel. Bigmmartin (370), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 18, 2008 On Draft at Fox and Hound. This is one of my all time favorite session beers. It was also one of my first craft beer experiences. It’s a familiar favorite. The bottle is excellent, but I love this beer on draft.
The color is dark golden amber color with a clean thin head. The aroma is mainly hops, with some malt. The flavor is hoppy, with nice malt backbone. Has a wonderful sweet malt and bitter hop balance. Simple, but clean, crisp, and refreshing.
