I didn’t realize that this was different than the bottle variety. Maybe a little lighter hop flavour but that could jsut be from the bar lines. Carlus12 (361), London, Greater London, England

Still a solid ale. brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2007 I usually rag on Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and other intensely hoppy pale ales because, for me, "intensely hoppy" isn’t exactly synonymous with "tasty." However, the draft version of SNPA was quite a bit tastier than the bottled although it doesn’t look all that different (amber/copper hue and white head). The usual citrus/floral/dish soap nose is still around, but I was pleasantly surprised how much caramel and cookie flavors I caught before the hops grabbed hold. SNPA is definitely one of the best drafts with such wide availability. Hudspart (374), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA
