Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel and grapefruit. Fruity taste with orange, apricots, grapefruit, slight hints of pine needles and a hoppy, but not very bitter, finish. Rather dry. Lots of carbonation making it slightly prickly on the tongue. Lacking some body. Overall a well made, reliable, very tasty and very drinkable beer. bergface (57), madison, Alabama, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2007 Beer pours clear and bright light copper color with a modestely retained off white head. Enjoyable Cascade hop aroma, nicely grassy, the prototypical IPA. Flavor is delicously grapefruity. Yum. rmussman (906), California, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Feb 28, 2007 One of the best beers. I have had it hundreds of times and still love it. The flavor is tremendous with little to no head, which is not required with this brew. A true norcal classic beermouth (435), Langeskov, Denmark
