Draught at the Draught House. Pours a clear light pale with white head and good lacing. The aroma does have some grapefruit notes but not much for a dry hopped beer. Clean malty flavor that has a almost melon-like fruitiness with a crisp hop flavor and bitterness that balances it out nicely. Well made beer.

Why do all SN beers taste the same? Not much creativity if you ask me. Taste like Celebration(which i love) except way drier and a little more bitter. Also, I didn’t get the big floral scent, in fact it didn’t have much of a nose at all. Nothing "special". One and done.

Much better than the bottled version. Good balance. Easy drinking brew. Flowery and a little spicy estery flavor. A good stand by to order when nothing else but macro brews are on the wall.

I tried this beer on tap and found it to be very different from the bottle version. The hops are not as aggressive as the bottle version and that is why I would not seek out the draft version.

I too am amazed to see this as a separate listing when the RB owners won’t separate their Torpedo Ale from the Celebration ale. In any case, I don’t find any difference between the draft and bottled versions .. they’re both excellent.

Enjoyed on tap 1/3/2007 at the Thai Emerald in Birmingham, AL. Poured aan attractive clear amber with a head that the bartender completely lost control over - after using a foam catch cup. Aroma was pleasing and hoppy, I completely agree with the ’grapefruit’ characterization. Crisp flavor profile, pronounced yet balanced, and lightly hoppy. Light-medium bodied, pleasant without being watery. Little lace. A great session beer that would be easily accepted by most.

Draught obviously. Pours clear amber with a lasting white head. Aroma is grapefruit and some pine hops, with some malt in the background. Flavor is the same. A quite drinkable version of a west-coast APA.

Draft at O’Brien’s. I didn’t get that HUGE floral nose off this at all. In fact, the nose was almost nothing. The flavor was very subtle hops but decent malt flavors. It was rather smooth, and had a decent mouthfeel, just didn’t do it for me anywher else.

This beer was a longtime favorite until I discovered craft beers. I still love it. It is nice to have a decent beer availiable on tap to choose from. Great Golden color with a nice head. Hoppy flavors and aromas.

Draught. Clear amber with a creamy white head. Excellent, delicate floral hop aroma with a light caramel presense. Rather thin in body and missing flavors to match the aroma. Disappointing.
