| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 7, 2006 I had a couple of these at the Red Star Tavern in Mason, OH. Nice dark appearace with a quick fading head. I think this is very much like the bottled version, only with a more "refreshing" feel to it? I don’t quite know how to explain it. Average hops. jason (1624), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

On draft this ale which I have regarded as a good beer you can get almost anywhere had a nice bite to it. Good aroma and appereance and it finishes well. This rating may be over rated because I had this on a night when I drank a few yuengling before hand. schquigly (18), louisville, Kentucky, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 23, 2006 i have had sierra nevada several times on draft and didnt know there was a difference. never tried them side by side. i assume they are similiar. but with tap freshness and cleanliness draft beers vary all the time. this is the standard for pale ales and what ale others imulate. started the micro revolution here in the states. thank god. gives you a wicked hangover if you drink a bunch of these. daalamar (403), bardstown, Kentucky, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2006 I have a difficult time determining a difference between this and the bottle version. Yes it does look a bit darker in color but then again the lighting isn’t the best at the bar. Grapefruit and piney hops in the aroma. Possibly a bit heavier in body with more sweetness before the citrisy hop finish. alafito (334), tijuana, Mexico
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 19, 2006 Orange copper color body with little head for a draft. Citrusy, hops and even some carrot flavors. Kind of watery, Not my style of beer. Though it goes down easy and goes well with fish and chips. Fin (3462), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Good hoppiness, some citrus notes prevalent thorughout. Very good easy drinking beer. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 11, 2006 This brew is VERY similar to the bottled version. The differences are almost non-existent. So what does that mean? Still a damn fine brew.
