Sharp metallic bite in the finish. Nice Lacing. Low carbonation with a medium body. Clear copper color. Very drinkable and enjoyable. foundmd (163), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Pale yellow/orange with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of citrus hops and caramel malts. Not as much bitter taste or citrus as expected. Taste more like a lager than a pale ale. I remember the bottled version being better than this.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 30, 2009 An ale of burnished gold, with a puffy white head that holds its form. Light wafts of cascade hops assail the nose containing their notes of fresh, sour fruit and waxy pine, very appetising. In the mouth it is well balanced, bready flavours play off against fragrant orange peel. In texture it is thick with tingly bubbles over the tongue. It contains all the nuances one may expect from the west coast but in reality it takes tem nowhere extra special. BOLTZ7555 (1099), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Enjoyed this one much more than the bottled version; more balanced and less hop bitterness. 24 karat pour with a solid 1-inch foam. Aroma is citrus, spruce, and caramel. The orange zest and grapefruit seems to be offset by a nice honey sweetness. Medium mouthfeel and good carbonation. Same floral, citrus aroma, same dark gold colour and the same hoppy bitterness. Just a little more rounded overall and just slightly shades the excellent bottle. Wish I could get my hands on this on a regular basis. Ljunkan (398), Karlstad, Sweden
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2009 On tap at Bishops Arms, Karlstad. Pours a clear amber color with a nice white head, looks nice. Aroma is hoppy with citrus, grapefruit, pine needle and caramel. Flavour is caramely and quite sweet first with some citrus, grapefruit and pine needle notes, medium bitterness. Mediumbody with quite lively carbonation. Higly drinkable and refreshing, but not that complex. I even remember the bottled version to be better, weirdly enough.
