[draught] I was expecting an overly hopped, ersatz version of a bock - what I got was not quite the case - this was surprisingly sweet, with quite a subdued hop presence (for SN anyway) - grainy, with hints of maple and corn syrup - somewhat thin finish - not the greatest of bocks, but much better than expected.

Tap, Toronado, San Francisco. Malty, cereal, some chlorine, with not much esle to peak of, easy to drink, short finih, watery texture.

A slightly hoppy version of a bock brew. The typical sierra hop flavor with a lager clarity. I never thought I would try this brew, and I probably won’t try it again.

This one is courtesy of my bud Celogan who freshly moved to CA. Nice light amber color,small white head that had a decent hangtime then faded to leave a small but decent lace.Malty sweet aroma with a nice mild hop presence and slight lemon hint to go along with a mild cereal like character.Nice light malty flavor with a decent cereal and hop presence,mildly lemony with a fairly better hop showing as the brew warms up.It's fairly decently balanced betweeen the cereal flavor and the hops and the nice light mix of hops and lemon seem to go nicely with this brew.Is it a good Rep. for a bock,hard to say,Maybe,but over all it's a very nice brew that i believe i could sit and drink all summer long if it were available in thise area.Many Thanks to Celogan for sending this local my way.

Interesting draft, Pale Bock lives up to its name and has a punch to it.

Draft... Poured a golden color with a fluffy white head and some lacing. Aroma of lemon, citrus hops, and tropical fruits. Bready taste of light fruits and a nice lively carbonation.

2004 version that states 6.5 abv. Why they designate this as a Malt Liquor, I'm not sure, but it is pretty decent. Poured golden yellow with little head that evaporated quickly, but did leave a little (but not much) lacing along the way. Definite alcohol in the nose and flavor which was more fruity than you'd expect for a lager; almost tastes like an ale with an alcohol kick. Not very malty at all, and the fruityness was hard to determine, maybe very slight banana or something, but just not definite. This isn't my favorite but having it on tap at the brewery followed by a sixer makes it among the "keepers"

Golden with an off-white fine textured head. Caramelly aroma with a fair bit of hoppy resinousness. Light with a moderate bitter finish with a bit of lingering corn. Pretty clean tasting.
