This was a dissappointing beer. On tap at Barcade. It pours a pale golden with no head. Thin, grassy aroma. There’s a alight cereal and corn malt aspect with a light lemony hoppyness. Grassy and thin, dull. Not too good.

On tap, San Diego Brewing. Pours a medium golden color. Slightly sweet grainy aroma. Bitter grainy flavor. Not really a very good bock, seems to be lacking sweetness. Tastes more like a bitter pils. Lacked what I like in a bock.

250ml draught at The Rake, Borough Market (16.09.2006). Goden body with missing head. Fresh and fruity aroma. Flavour is fruity with notes of hops, yeast and some supporting malts. Crispated. A good thirst quencher on a warn day in London. Very relaxing outdoor seating at the Rake (great place and friendly staff).

Cask@GBBF, 2006. Golden beer with a fizzy head. The aroma is strong, toxic and vinous, and the flavour is rich, slightly yeasty, tangy and sour. Overall a reasonable light coloured rich beer.

On draught at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 02/08/2006 Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured pale and hoppy with a crisp and dry slightly nutty bitter finish.

Draught, GBBF 06. Golden brown with an off-white head. Aromas are biscuit malts with alcohol. Some caramel and spices with vegetable notes. Flavours are buttery on the palate with biscuit and lemon. Like a belgian golden ale. Pretty good.

Draught (GBBF 2006): Pale in colour. Slightly fruity aroma with some biscuity malt notes. Flavour is a little astringent, mostly just clean malt flavours. A bit boring.
