Apr 7, 2006 On tap at The Map Room. Pours a golden yellow with a thick foamy white head. Caramel malts with a hint of rye. Finishes crisp with with a spicy, albeit faint, hop bite.

Apr 2, 2006 Bottled. Very clear, brilliant yellow color. Yeasty malt flavor with some sulfurish egg notes. Slightly floral. Grainy malt flavor with a very dry finish. Much richer than I expected it to be.

Aug 23, 2005 A bottle from 1990! Tasted like milk chocolate, malty, brown sugar, a dessert in a bottle...lol. lots of floaties, but they settled after an hour. too old, but still drinkable.

May 18, 2005 Rich malt nose with plums, figs - not too heavy. Rich malt, hoppy, a little lemon, sulfur. Yum. Maple/butterscotch in the finish.

Apr 9, 2005 Draft. Golden color with a nice big white head. Biscuity malt aroma and flavor. Some spiciness. Nicely balanced. Very drinkable.
