| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Poured dark brown with a hint of ruby. A thin bubbly tan head which disappeared quickly. No noticable aroma. A balance taste, dark, somewhat hoppy, but mixed with a chocolate sweetness. Light feel in the mouth - somewhat bubbly. Maybe too light for a porter, but enjoyable nonetheless.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 14, 2008 This is very accomplished as Porters go and I was pretty surprised. A full flavor with coffee, dark chocolate only around the edges. Aroma that is merely dark. Its not spectacular at all, but is totally a very good porter, as GodOfThunder puts it. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Dec 10, 2008 Nothing really spectacular about this one, it is just a very good porter. Lots of roasted malt and a little smokiness on the finish. Pretty substantial mouthfeel. Nothing new or amazing, but it is a very good porter. AgentSteve (1376), SF Bay Area, California, USA
