Dark brown with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with notes of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and coffee. Sweet flavor with hints of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate notes.

A well-defined porter. Has a mild smoky aroma, very mild, also has a nice creamy taste. Pours very well with a clear defined head. Great brew!

12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing off-white head. Roasted malt, chocolate and hops in an almost perfect blend. Flavour is smooth roasted malt with a mild hops note. Finish is lingering roasted malt, chocolate and mild hoppy with a light bitterness. Very easy to drink and with a nice composition.

Much lighter in body and flavor than usual dark beers, but nothing wrong with that.

Bottle. One of the best American Porters out there.Not overly sweet yet has a nice chocolate flavor. Loved this beer. Highly recommended.

Bottle. [Courtesy of BelJohansen, thanks buddy] Large creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Black colour. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, mild smoke, mild hops, roasted malt. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and somewhat thick texture. Moderated sweet flavour with light bitterness. Chocolate and liquorish like sweet lingering finish.

A classic porter with extra hops, pretty much just what you’d expect from Sierra Nevada. Seems like almost the standard in American porters. Roasty malt, vanilla, hops. Well rounded and tasty. Solid.

Bottle. Poured a deep dark brown body with thin head. Aroma is chocolate, light roast. Flavor is light choclate, sweet malt, nutty and some roast. Nice mouthfeel.
