Sierra Nevada Porter is a clear, deep brown porter with a very nice creamy beige head. The aroma is roasted with hints of chocolate. The flavor is very full and very smooth with notes of caramel, chocolate and tons of roasted flavor.

(USA) Dark brown color almost black in color with a foamy med- tan head. It has a roasted malt / chocolate aroma with a smoky yet bitter finish. The mouthfeel well balanced but on the light side for a porter !! This would be a nice start for a newbie.

Bottle. Pours an opaque black, with a small brown head. Aroma of heavily roasted malt, licorice, and some pruny dark fruit sweetness. Flavour reflects aroma, but leans more towards dark chocolate than fruit. Bit smokey. Dry and bitter hops in aftertaste. Moderate carbonation, sticky mouthfeel, medium body. Not as full bodied as many others, but a lovely dry porter all by itself!

12oz bottle. Dark ruby, big head, lace. Roasty and chocolate aroma with earthy hops. Acidic, dry, and roast chocolate flavor. Exactly what I want in a porter. Very drinkable chocolate goodness. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Seems unique to me in their lineup, and I like it.

Drank it in Carmel, CA. Wow Sierra Nevada. This is really nice. Pours pitch black with a tan head. Light/Medium bodied. Nice smoky flavor. Flavor is complex, not just smoke, but chocolate and coffee. Way to go!
