Draught. Light, roasty malt aromas. Smoke and caramel. Dark amber, near black with a thin head. Roasty open, smoke and coffee tapers off into not much else. Thin and boring. Reflective of the less exciting examples of the style.

Draught: Chocolate Malt Aroma some Toffee and brown sugar. Pours dark brown to black little to no head. Bold chocolate flavor fallowed by sweet malts and a bitter smoke finish. A little thin but nice smooth palate. Could be less watery.

This was a pretty solid beer. Roasted malts in the aroma. Chocolately sweet taste, but missing a nice presence of hops. I’ll surely be drinking more of these.

This is basically your typical porter with a bit more spiciness due to the hops. I liked it a lot. A pleasant surprise.

This beer poured with a deep, dark color and hearty head. Great lacing throughout the entire drink. Great malty smell and full mouth feel. I am suprised to see medium bodied in the description as I found it to be fairly full bodied. A great drink that I would highly suggest.

Color was a very dark brown, with some red. It had a good off-white head with some lacing. There was a moderate malt smell with a strong hop aroma. Initial flavor is sweet, with a bitter coffee finish. Overall, this is a very good porter.

Poured dark brown from the 12 ounce botte. Modest tan head some lacings. A fine porter from one of my favorite craft brewers. I think Black Butte Porter from Deschutes is my benchmark but I think this is better balanced than B.B. Nice chocolate / coffee sweet malt with just the right amount of hops to make this a nice almost chewy brew. Highly recommended for fans of this style.
