| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Aug 17, 2009 24oz brown bottle obtained at The Liquor Shoppe in Tygsboro, MA. Pours a murky dark amber body with nearly an inch of off-white head. Citrus (lemon, orange), pineapple, herbs, mint, and a bit of caramel and pith in the aroma. Orange, grapefruit, pineapple, berry, pith, lemon, mint, all presumably from the hops, dominate the flavor, with just enough caramel and biscuit to provide a bit of balance. Dry finish with hints of vegetal, fruity, and herbal hops. One of the most complex hop flavors of any beer I’ve tried. Medium bodied with ample carbonation to boot. No alcohol presence or warming to speak of. Extremely drinkable on account of every trait of this beer. I was expecting a lot from this beer and it did not disappoint. One of the best APAs around and for the price it’s probably the best bang for your buck flavor-wise too! Bravo, SN! Shakesbeere (54), Massachusetts, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 15, 2009 An amber pour. Aroma doesn’t have an overpowering smell of hops, rather a balanced mixture of floral hops, citrus fruit, and pine. A complex taste -- initially citrusy grapefruit and slight coriander, then culminating with a shot of hoppy bitterness. This is really a good IPA that embodies the sense of southern comfort -- a leisurely taste of the southern hemisphere. This beer is a testament to "the perfect place" to await "the end of the world" (On the Beach). pete4999 (145), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 14, 2009 24 oz bottle...pours a beautiful reddish amber, nice lacing, gradient color. Smells good...not an overpowering hoppy scent...smells of citrus fruits, pine. Taste is very good, sweeter than the average IPA, I’d think. Not as much of a hop bite up front, but a nice hint on the finish. Crisp, nice finish too. All around a quality beer. spkldhenlvr24 (463), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 9, 2009 Pours copper, with a nice off white head, great lace. Nose of hops, citrus, pine, some floral notes, caramel. Taste is similar, the sweetness got me first, citrus notes as well as some caramel, then a hoppy bitter finish. Hops are very present, but more subdued compared to imperial/double ipa’s. An extremely enjoyable IPA that you can’t go wrong with.
