| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 3, 2009 24oz bottle - Pours lightly hazy copper with a two finger head. It smells of floral and citrus hops with a touch of malt. The flavor is of sweet caramel malt and assertive hops. The hops are kind of grassy. There’s also a little citrus in there but certainly not as much as the beloved Cascade hops featured in so many west coast IPAs. It’s medium bodied and enjoyable though. deyholla (699), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2009 Pours a lightly cloudy copper orange with a big beautifully rocky, creamy, off-white head. Decent lacing. The aroma is fresh hops; citrus, hay, lemongrass, slightly floral. I can also detect some sweet caramel in there too. The flavor is sweet and malty at first, with bitterness fading in fast, more than what the aroma would’ve suggested. Light citrus hop finish with a fair amount of IBUs and some dryness. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 1, 2009 This bottle has 2nd release 2009 on label. Looking for an IPA to replace Founders, Stone failed (but I like). This was a good drink, light refreshing but not was I hoped. Kinda sweet citrus with the hops more in back, dry afterwards. Nice aroma of lemon and hops with a floral quality as well. Really refreshing citrus flavour and long finish as well. There’s a great, fresh mouth feel to it. A perfect summer beer. The aroma is all hops and the flavor follows up strongly. Hoppy, bitter and with a mild bite. Finished smooth. Tasty. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2009 Bottle 71 cl. Pours a warm amber golden with a tall and dense off-white head. Rather light citrusy nose with a leathery hoppiness. Medium body, rather light mouthfeel, quite some caramel and fruit and a hop bitterness in the finish that grows and becomes rather distinct but not very refined. Disappointing actually. 100709
