Commercial Description:
This ale marks our journey to the only place on the planet where fresh hops are harvested in our spring, the Southern Hemisphere. Our task was daunting-we needed to get the hops picked, dried, flown halfway across the world and into our brew kettle in a little over a week's time. The result is a North-by-South fusion of fresh New Zealand hops blended with the finest North American malts. Its robust hop character presents an intriguing floral-citrus aroma leading to layers of fresh-hop spiciness. Enjoy!

Beautifull bottle in all it’s 24oz glory. Clear deep amber with a huge dense white head. Blocky sticky lacing. Big earthy woody hop aroma with stong mild light ly toasted mats. Smooth thick palatte, woody soft hops that come it with a very decent IBU bite after a moment. Finishes wet and a little heavy. Long lasting bitter "burn" Fairly strong and not the bright crisp west coast IPA. Bold and tasty.

I’m really happy with this beer. There are plenty of hops, nice aroma, and the warm-all-over feeling I usually get from a Sierra Nevada brew. Uh...these are single serving bottles, right?

Amber/copper pour, medium head. Aroma is caramel malt, cirtusy hops. Medium mouthfeel, caramel malts and strong hop bitterness that starts citrus and ends piney, a whole range of flavors meld together. A very well balanced IPA. All in all very nice!

Aroma: apricot. slight hops.Appearance: Darker golden, significant frothy white head. Flavor: Thin, slightl malt, watery, bitter, gritty chalky, unrefined. Chalky finish. Palate: light, watery, gritty finish. Overall: aroma was interesting, but overall beer fell short in all areas. wish i could bottle swill like this and get people to buy it. I’m a huge palate guy and this left me more than wanting.

Pours orangish amber with a good sized white head, long lasting. Aroma is citrus. Tastes is fruity, with notes of grapefruit and caramel. Finish is a nice medium level bitterness. The balancing of flavors makes this a nice experience. Overall a very nice brew.

Poured Golden amber with a poofy white head. Nose is very run of the mill SN with an odd chemical scent. Unimpressive. Taste is pretty blah, there is a slightly bmc flavor I get, tastes like it had some corn in it, slightly soapy, hops are there but clouded by these less than favorable notes.

Pours lightly cloudy orange amber with light tan head. Aromas of sweet, slightly citrus, slightly soapy hops and light malt come through. Flavor is great, forward but balanced bitter, resiny, grapefruit rindy, hops are first, followed by some sweet toasty malt, and ending with a very pleasant hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is just right - seems slightly fuller bodied than middle of the road. Overall, this is a very fine brew.
