Aug 11, 2008 Bottle. Off-white, somewhat frothy head, slowly diminishes w/ fair lacing. Light amber w/ a little haziness Pleasant aroma of grapefruit and pine w/ a detectable note of cereal to bring in the malt. Sweet stickiness on the lips hints at a hefty brew, but it turns out to be medium bodied. Hop bitterness is complex w/ lots of spicy, floral notes: black pepper and honeysuckle. Finish is dry, peppery, and woody (oak) - great stuff.

Aug 11, 2008 bottle. Amber in color with a medium off white head. Nice aroma of citrus and floral, some earthy hops and some light lingering malts in the back. Taste is hoppy with citrus, floral, and light earth- medium body for the style with a moderately assertive bitter finish. Although not as assertive as the best of the style IMHO, this one was very good.

Aug 10, 2008 Pours a beautiful honey brown color with a soft light brown head. A grassy field aroma is welcoming. A taste of hops initially with a bitter finish that is quite lasting. I am a lover of the fresh hops ales, and Sierra Nevada has done a wonderful job.

Aug 9, 2008 [1457-20080531] 1pt8floz bottle. Grassy hops and a bit of grains in the aroma. Clear, red amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Hoppy bitter flavour has lots of grains and orange rind. Medium body is fairly bitter and dry. Good.

Aug 8, 2008 Amber red hue with big floppy head and messy lacing. Moderate citrus and earthy hop aroma with bread malts lurking. Taste begins with sweet grain malts and transitions quickly to mildly bitter citrus hops and spices. Nice thick texture and carbonation with a touch of alcohol in the finish. Very refreshing and a nice complement to the original Harvest Ale.

Aug 7, 2008 Aroma has citrusy hops, loads of malt too, deep apricot in colour, tiny custard head. Taste begins with a gorgeous malt, some toffee, a big orange zest. Medium bodied, completely balanced, great tongue tingle. Fanatastic! Thanks Torontoblue.

Aug 7, 2008 Amber orange pour with gooey white head and lace. Medium citrus hops aroma. Good malt profile with a good piney grapefruity hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with solid carbonation. Overall very nice drinker.
