One of Sierra Nevada’s best!! The hops are incredibly fresh and the flavor is absolutely amazing! One of my new favorites, I still love Boont amber ale the best, anything from Anderson Vally Brewing or Mendocino Brewing Company for that matter, but this is some good stuff! Good Job Sierra Nevada! ilherps (226), Carbondale, Illinois, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jul 15, 2008 This is another great one. It pours a slightly opaque copper-orange with a thick creamy head. Aromas of citrus jump out at you, with citrus and overwhelming hops in the flavor with a nicely balanced, bitter finish. The spruce as others have noticed does come through, giving it a nice spicy feel and flavor. Gooney (61), Oregon, USA

Pours deep translucent amber with a lasting off-white head. Smell of yeasty dough and grass, fruity esters. Deep bitterness peppered with zesty fruit and a hint of chocolate. Lasting bitter finish, though not too intense. This is the first time I have had a harvest ale and this is totally not what I expected. Excellent. bryandhargrave (165), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Just the right everything. I don’t understand the lower marks in relation to the Harvest, and wonder if people are confusing this one and the regular Harvest. Anyways, pours a massive 3 finger head that lingers a very long time and remains till the end with miraculous clinging lacing. Aroma of fresh cut grass and some dried fruits, flavor - in a nutshell - great. Love it!!!
