Commercial Description:
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Bottled. A clear amber beer with a lacing white head. Strong hop aroma. Medium to full body. Taste is malty, sweety and caramel. Nice hops flavor. Dry spicy end. Very well balanced

12oz. pours with a creamy head that looks like meringue. golden orange color. juicy grapefruit and pine aroma. dry biscuity malt. a little cloying, but has a rich and solid mouthfeel. nice hopping all around both the bittering and dry hops providing the predictable SN style but with a fresh and lush twist. very good american west coast IPA. yum

Shining orange-amber color, creamy head. The aroma shows some resiny hop, but I expected more. Medium body, good toffee flavor, quite round mouthfeel, not sweet; strong hopping, quite oily and resiny, not fruity. Both aroma and flavor are a bit cremy. The hops are more aromatic than large scale beers, but less than most craft beers. Strong final, a bit nutty. Not exciting, but very solid brew.

Hazy light orange with big thick white head. Aroma of floral hops and sweet bread malts with a hint of citrus. Flavor follows suit with the big malts inching dominance over the more subtle grassy-floral-chalk hop flavors, finishes slightly bitter. Texture is medium-bodied and somewhat watery. Overall a decent single IPA with a good malt-hop balance, masked abv, and an overly bitter and chalky finish.

This is much more bitter than their flagship ale. It has a wonderful body, but is also extra bitter a la the name

Cask, GBBF 09. Golden with a small head. Aromas are toasty malts with lots of peach and melon. Some toffee with pine coming through. Flavours are hoppy, floral and fresh. Green peppery and bitter pine with plenty of lemon and peach fruitiness. Sweet grapefruit with associated bitterness towards the finish. Strong marmalade notes. Quite viscous on the palate. Sweet, hoppy and very good.
