| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 28, 2009 Autumn leaf colored with a milky, white soapy head. Nice lace. Aroma of flowery, spicy, hops with a little malt and some alcohol. Big body, but remains quite smooth. Upfront is qiute bitter, followed by bready, pale malts. Finish is dry with spicy, hops. I really like the finish but the bitterness in the front is a bit much for the rest of the beer. Alcohol is a little too pronounced. Drinkable, but I’ll take the Harvest or Pale over this anyday. larryLSB (164), La Selva Beach, California, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 28, 2009 Bottle. Clear shiny penny colored with a perfect, long lasting white head. Excellent lacing. Smell is somewhat citrusy with a heavy dose of pine. Flavor hits similarly with citrus up front, then a nice sharp pine flavor that lingers in the mouth. Leaves the mouth clean and a little burned. Excellent IPA all around. williamherbert (475), Syracuse, New York, USA
