| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Botle pours a deep golden orange. Nice yellowish sandy colored head. Nice malt and hop medley going on in the aroma. Distinguishable if not powerful citrus and piney hop notes. Modest malt backbone, but does fine as a hop carrier. fair carbonation and a moderate lingering bitterness. Still wish for more hops up front. verymerrymonk (257), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Bottle->tulip: pours a large, rocky, off-white head that exhibits spare lacing atop a murky, orange body. Aroma of cookie, perfume, and leather. The body is medium, texture sticky, with average carbonation, finishing chalkily. The flavor’s duration is long, being moderately acidic and bitter. potbeercollege (410), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Earthy floral tones. Overall sierra nevada’s regular IPA is much better. Pailhead (2605), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 16, 2009 How the hell have I not rated this yet? A fabulous IPA in my opinion, and readily available in my area...even better! Beautiful golden color with a frothy white head that lasts throughout the entire glass. Aroma is citric and peppery, loaded with crisp hops. Lots of pine needle and sap in the flavor, well-balanced with the malt content underneath. Finishes dry, clean, and refreshing. I could drink this all day long. Yum! weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 16, 2009 I can see it’s quite popular but just didn’t do it for me. Our friends over the pond do some brilliant IPA’s but in my opinion this wasn’t one of them. Strong hop aroma with citrus thrown in. Similar flavour, dry finish. Far from anything wrong with it, just not for me.
