Jun 27, 2009 Good looking copper pour with milky foamy head which leaves some nice retention. Obvious piney hops are there to smell but as well as a lingering caramel maltyness which really comes through on the taste. The hop backbone is well balanced with the toasty sticky malt flavor. Fairly well quenching. Pretty solid overall.

Fruity aroma of hops and pine needles with notes of grape fruits.
Fruity flavour of hops, pine needles and grape fruits.
Dry hoppy finish.

Jun 26, 2009 Pours a deep copper/red with a dense white head. Aroma is of American hops and pale malt. Taste is of some sweet malt and then a sharp bitter finish. Very tasty.

Jun 24, 2009 Pours a deep copper color with a nice lasting head. Aroma is big on citrus and hops, with some caramel malts. Flavor is much the same, but a bit more balanced. Smooth texture with a bite at the end. A good IPA.

En bouche, oranges, citrons, résine et bois se partagent le haut de l’affiche, suivi de près par la douceur d’un certain caramel / malt et de quelques épices poivrées. Le corps est moyen, un peu huileux en bouche. Chaque gorgée en provoque une autre et une autre, et une autre... Une très, très bonne bière, et très accessible - en ce sens où son amertume n’est pas trop déstabilisante. (pour ceux qui n’aiment pas le style)

Jun 23, 2009 Pours a very cloudy orange/amber with a thin, soapy, off-white head. Great odor, sweet sticky hops. Starts off with a slightly sweet, grapefruity hop taste, like the regular SN IPA, but holy cow the hop bitterness aftertaste will kick your face. Great bitterness, I really like the aftertaste. Even better than the regular IPA.

Jun 22, 2009 pours to a copper body with very little head and a sweet floral aroma to it. The body is medium with a bitter hop taste that stays with you, all in all, the pine nuts are a good taste to blend in with the hops but this is a hair bit more bitter than i like.
