Smells like a hop cone. Tastes like a hop cone too. Watered down though. Lots of bitter right out the gate, and a touch in the aftertaste. But damn delicious. dalek123 (103), Houston, Texas, USA

Very well balanced IPA, bitterness level is upfront but still goes down smoothly. Excellent. crajun (101), , Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 28, 2009 Nice IPA from Sierra... it has the hop character I look for in an IPA. Nice hoppy citrus, pine hop flavor... personally, I would have liked a little less malt character. Excellent on tap, good in the bottle. boscoja1 (14), gainesville, Florida, USA

Beautiful amber color with medium bodied head. Nice bitter hoppy, pine flavor, with a nice lingering aftertaste. Overall another great beer from Sierra Nevada. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 27, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden pour with alot of rising bubbles and a thick white head. Very nice hop aroma with a taste to match. Some malt sweetness up front with a nice bitter finish, rather nice. cbeers21 (589), Miami, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 27, 2009 Good looking copper pour with milky foamy head which leaves some nice retention. Obvious piney hops are there to smell but as well as a lingering caramel maltyness which really comes through on the taste. The hop backbone is well balanced with the toasty sticky malt flavor. Fairly well quenching. Pretty solid overall. joergen (8638), Frederiksberg, Denmark
