Apr 24, 2009 Bottled at Sorbon, Bromma, Stockholm. Clear amber, rocky head. Concentrated hoppy juicy sweaty nose. Full bodied with soft, dense mouthfeel. The malt sweetness frowns in an ocean of orangey salty hops. Lovely seemless flaour where everything seem perfctly intergrated and harmonious. Finishes with massive bitterness that still never feels the slightest assaulting. A top IPA.

Apr 24, 2009 Bottle. Poured a medium copper color whith a white head. Has a slight pine and malt aroma. Tasted of malt and hops with a bitter finish.

Apr 23, 2009 Pours medium amber, translucent, with generous off-white head. Aromatics dissapoint a little given the amazing taste, but still please with herbal qualities and an almost "baked hop" aroma. Palate is rather sharp, medium bodied, dry, and off the vine hop fresh flavors. More herbal and hoppy than the other amazing offerings from Sierra Nevada.

Apr 23, 2009 Awesome beer. Quality to price ratio may the best part about this brew. $1.69 a bottle at my store when you get a 6 pack. Love the hops in this IPA. Their more polished and less aggressively bitter than many super hopped beers. I’ll try to post more specific notes later after I study the beer a bit longer.

Apr 23, 2009 Had this about a month ago when I broke out the grill for the first time this spring. Nose of evergreen forest, juniper, spice, flowers, and loads of citrus. Pours clear copper with a fully lasting white rocky head that is stiff and had great lace. The brew has a balanced start with a moderately acidic middle, and a pronounced bitter finish. The full body is soft and dry. Reminds me of Alpha King which is probably why it rates so high.

Apr 22, 2009 Bottle from Ledgers. Clear orange with a fizzy white head. Good grapefruit and caramel aroma and taste with a smooth mildly bitter finish.

Apr 22, 2009 Poured amber with thin white head. Orange citrus aroma with notes of pine. Hops are the name of the game with this brew. Bitterness is high relative to malt balance, hop flavor is dry but still finished clean. Crisp and hops are handled well here, not too much.

Apr 22, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours translucent orange, nice off white head. Lacing is strong at first but disappears. Aroma is strong citrus-hops. Taste? Just take a look at the name- HOPS! Hops, hops, more hops. Not extremely complex, but a nice blast of hops nonetheless. Perfect carbonation, nice finish, and 7.2% means this new offering packs more punch that it’s smaller brother. Another good one from SN.
