Commercial Description:
Torpedo is an assertive American IPA deep reddish-gold in color, with a smooth and bready malt presence and over-the-top hop aromas. The beer has a solid bitterness and a massive hop flavor, yet remains easy drinking with a pleasant dry finish.

Bottled. A clear amber beer with a lacing white head. Strong hop aroma. Medium to full body. Taste is malty, sweety and caramel. Nice hops flavor. Dry spicy end. Very well balanced

Outstanding. Ultra piney, sappy, and deep woods delicious. Hoppy enough for Bigfoot and tasty enough for the Queen of England. Sierra Nevada ...does it again!

Orange with a large white head that took a while to fall. Left lacing along my glass. Has a slightly citrus and pine American hop character with a little grassiness. Malt flavor is light with a little caramel. Very nice, available, and affordable as IPAs go.

Bottle. Pours clear orange amber with a foamy white head that lasts a while. Hoppy nose has notes of caramel, pine, orange, grapefruit and spearmint. Flavour is also hoppy but has a stronger malt backbone; the citrus and pine are still present but there is very little sweetness and the minty/herbal notes are more prominent. Mouthfeel is smooth with a slight sharpness, medium carbonation and a long nicely bitter finish. Overall a very good IPA which manages to be both aggressive and easy drinking. If this were more readily available in my neighbourhood, I would drink it often.

Farily clear orangey copper body with a short head that did hang around. Slightly sweet aroma, hints of honey, a little bit of pine but some caramel as well. Taste is fairly bitter at first but gets fairly easy to drink, mainly notice the hops in most of the taste though the malt supports well.

Bottle Pours orange with a rocky white head. Floral aroma of orange, tangerine and piney, almost woody notes. Sweet flavour of caramel, citrus, orange and a grassiness from the hops. Very well balanced. Smooth and bitter with a lingering dryness in the finish. A well brewed IPA.

Bottle. Pours a reddish copper color with a white foamy head that receedes leaving sporatic lacing. Nose is sticky, piney and spicy hops with a nice caramel malt note. Palate is full and a little slick with a chewy feel. Flavors are in favour of bitter, piney hop notes with a light spiciness. Very stingy on the tongue and cheeks and coats the molars.

Pours orange with a small cream head that leaves nice lacing. Nose has heaps of grapefruit. Palate brings the same, some slight confectionary orange from hope & caramel malt before grapefruit & pine take charge. Finishes with med hop bitterness & a touch of malt. Quite similar to the anniversary ale though a bit less astringent, which is a good thing. Great beer!

This beer poors a dark gold color with a rapidly diminishing off white head. The aroma is robust with floral hops and pine. Flavor is crisp, good malt backbone and lots of hops to compliments its dry and wonderfully bitterness.
