This is a quintessential West-coast IPA. Smack of fresh, delicious hops, firm body, and VERY drinkable for the style.
This beer won’t change your religion, but it is a welcome addition to the Sierra Nevada line-up, and certainly their second best beer after Celebration.

Dec 18, 2009 pours a deep golden hue with a little white head, almost non exsistant. taste is smooth on palate. bitterness is quite upfront on the palate and lingers for quite some time. hops are very citrus, piney. fantastic combo

Dec 15, 2009 Pours light amber with an off white head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy hops. Flavor is a nice blend of citrusy, floral, and piny hop flavors. Pretty good.

Dec 14, 2009 Pours orange with an off white head. Aroma is pine and citrus hops and a bit of caramel malt. Flavor is big on hops, mostly pine and a little citrus, with a bit of caramel.

Dec 14, 2009 Pours a deep, hazy orange with moderate beige head, mostly diminishing. Aroma of hops and grass with orange, grapefruit, yeast and tangerine noticeable. Light caramel malt presence. Taste is fairly dry and very bitter, lingering after finish. All of this is done very well as a hoppy, yet balanced pffering. Excellent lacing through the finish - Cheers to Chico!

Dec 9, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Ludlow Wines. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange-amber that is more gold at the bottom and more amber up high. Big off-white head that leaves some nice lacing behind. Hoppy aroma, with floral notes, pine, citrus, and caramel malt. Bitter hop taste with notes of grapefruit and orange citrus, pine, caramel malts, and a little soapiness. Bold and bitter with a bitter hop aftertaste. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This one gets even hoppier and more bitter as it goes down. Long aftertaste. Strong IPA.

Dec 7, 2009 12-oz bottle. Looks and smell like an IPA. Love the texture. Creamy with medium carbonation. Very pleasant. Taste is hoppy, of course with a hint of sweetness on the front end. I can’t find anything to not like about this beer. It is not a complex beer but it is full of flavor. Very drinkable. Another solid offering from S.N.

Dec 5, 2009 It’s not perfect... but it might as well be. Great dry hop smell and taste. Wonderful IPA. I’m not always a fan of Sierra Nevada but they have done well with this one. Great IPA.
