Apr 29, 2001 My favorite american wheat. Great floral and hoppy nose with a bready smell. Has a tangy citrusy type flavor - the use of imported french strissel spalt hops is very evident. This is unlike many american wheat beers I have tried...in that it has a great hop profile yet doesn’t drown out the wheat flavor.

Mar 16, 2002 Light but good nevertheless; the wheat/yeast is very well balanced against the hops, which I think are Cascade but aren’t too aggressive. Very refreshing, and excellent if you’re not expecting a hefeweizen.

Nov 10, 2001 I really enjoyed this beer on regret only buying one bottle of it on my first trip. Of the wheat beers I have tried I would have to say this was the best to date. Very flavorful and appealing to the palate. Can’t wait to pick up some more. Of course, I am partial to Sierra Nevada as their Pale Ale is what turned me on to beer tasting in the first place.
