illidurit (851), Santa Cruz, California, USA Aug 4, 2008 Bottle sampled at Lost Abbey during RBSG. Pours the color of unfiltered apple juice and just as hazy. Head is soft with decent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is canned peaches with some funky brett. Flavor is yeasty with a peach syrup sweetness and a dry brett/hops finish. Alcohol is invisible. Interesting beer. hophead75 (1945), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Aug 4, 2008 Hazy orange in color with a medium well retaining off white head. Aroma: a good amount of american hops, mostly orange: amarillo? As well as some funky brett and light lemon rind. Taste is a bit mellower than the aroma, but still prietty nice with citrus/orange, a light malty sweetness, with light touches of tart brett and mild funk. Pretty good, and I am sure this will get better. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 2, 2008 bottle, cloudy orange color, strong head, aroma of spicy orange funkiness, very smooth flavors of lemon, clove and other spices, finish is sweet and sour bitter kegbear (265), Orange, California, USA Jul 29, 2008 Bottle from Carlsbad Pizza Port bottle shop.
