750ml bottle from RSVP. Pours a golden cloudy color with a thin white head. Aroma of hops, dirt, and funk. Flavor is sweet malt at first, with a nice funky tang. Finish is bitter and dry with hints of citrus. Mouthfeel is super smooth and slightly acidic. It’s a funky beer with a lot of hops, what’s not to love!

Bottle at Butters Big Cellar Blowout. Pours an off-white head with a hazy copper body. Smells of tart, yeast, and caramel. Flavor is much the same. Refreshing.

Bottle shared at Butter’s Big Cellar Blowout. Clearish orange pour with good wispy white head and lacing. Bready belgian spiced yeast aroma. Flavor is floral earthy hop with belgian yeast. cotton candy, fruity hop, with sweet malt backbone. Nice balance. With medium syrupy body. Very good and Very expensive.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy and slightly yeasty hoppy aroma. Warming fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor with some yeasty hints. Hasa fruity malty spicy yeasty finish with lots of hops in the aftertaste.

Nice chunky, hazy and bright copper coloured body with orange and tan highlights all with a bright soapy, lacy egg-white head. Aroma of honey, curacao, yeast, wheat, flowers and coriander seed. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive malt, wheat and yeast tucked in with flowers, grass, honey and some light nuts. Aftertaste shows a very complex and refreshing beer - good flavours of floral hops, wheat and yeast along with a light alcoholic flavour and some sugars too. Overall, a nice beer - refreshing and complex at the same time, with a good dry character at the end. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 03-August-2008, sampled on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 02-May-2009.

Pours orange with a big frothy white head. Body is clear. Aroma of sweet apricot, nutmeg, apple pie, and spices. Flavor starts with sweet fruit that borders on marmalade, then transitions to barnyard flavors, spiciness and fruit. Finish is mildly tart, herbally, and alcoholic. Body is full and slightly syrupy with dryness on the finish. This is a full-flavored ale to be sure, very complex and tasty. II personally think the finishing flavors could have used more acidity and brett for heightened balance.

Orange nutmeg aroma. Murky brownish orange with thin beige head. Dry, boozy orange. Smooth, creamy carbonated bitterness, warmness as it goes down. Light orange peel aftertaste, like soft triple sec.
